Customer Reviews: Gives off BLUE light not white July 9, 2009 skiwindjunkie (Nantucket, MA) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful I bought the led vs. the basic rope light for its ability to no get hot. The problem with the LED is it gives off a blue light especially against a white backdrop. If I had to do it all over again I would of bought a regular basic rope light.
