I wanted a scale that would weigh me, that's it. If that's what you are looking for buy this one.
This scale is accurate each and every time I step on it. I have tested it by getting on and off with weights and it remains accurate. Not only does it do its job well but it looks nice and has an easy to read display that is back-lit so you can see it in low lighting.

After replacing my old bathroom scale with this sleek, modern, easy-to-read scale, I couldn't believe my eyes when I stepped on and weighed almost eight pounds heavier than my old scale. So, I put it to the litmus test and placed my two eight-pound hand weights on there, and it registered at 15.6 pounds so if anything, this scale is a fraction of weight under. The price is right too! Good scale!

This scale weighs in .2 lb increments, and has a bright, large back-lit display that stays on long enough to get off the scale to read it (without my glasses on!) It seems to be very accurate; it IS consistent. No need to 'tap' it on, either. AND - it came with batteries!!! Terrific product without breaking the bank - I'm a happy customer.
